Game reports

RIGA – Dinamo Riga have defeated Neftyanik Almetyevsk 2-1 in their second preseason game of the season on Wednesday evening.
Playing at inbox.lv ice hall in Riga, Dinamo Riga used the game to try out a number of players on the fringe of making the main squad roster.
The hosts found themselves in trouble early on against the Ak Bars Kazan farm club, going behind 1-0 on a Maksim Halov goal in the fourth minute.
But Pekka Rautakallio's men canceled out the earlier goal in the 15th minute through fringe player Vitalijs Pavlovs, before Roberts Bukarts added what turned out to be the game-winner in the 16th minute.
Maris Jucers played the entire game in goal.
Dinamo Riga's next warm up game comes on August 14 when they take on Spartak in their opening match of a four-team tournament in Nizhny Novgorod.
